Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) – Students will be able to enroll in coursework that will lead to licensure in practical nursing at the conclusion of the students’ senior year. As well as academic coursework, students will have an opportunity to complete clinical hours within the community. Additionally, nursing students have an opportunity to complete Dual Enrollment coursework that will lead to an Associates of Arts Degree upon high school graduation.
Students will be exposed to courses that prepare them for careers in the Health Care Industry. Some of the courses included are Basic Healthcare Worker, Medical Office Receptionist, Phlebotomist, EKG Aide, and Medical Assistant 1, 2, and 3.
Students will be exposed to courses that prepare them for a career as a Pharmacy Technician. Courses are aimed to teach students medical terminology and medicinal practices, which include the knowledge of medicinal drugs, IV preparation, maintenance and ordering of drugs, delivery of medications and patient records.
